Well, I'm thinkin about gettin a MS Natural Multimedia thingy, but the thing is, I've never used a Natural one before, you know, the ones that are \/ instead of __ so i dunno how easy they r to use.

I'm a touch typer, i never look at the keys (sometimes I never look at the screen, which is really funny when my fingers are on g & k instead of f & j    ), so how easy a transition from normal unergonomic unnatural keyboard, is the natural one for typing, is touch typing still as easy, coz i'd be really annoyed if I had to start looking at my keyboard.

And how easy is a Natural Board for one handed typing, for umm, when I'm eating.. ya... thats it... eating.... nothing to do with webcams and porn... eating *coff coff* cause sometimes I eat, or roll a ciggie so only have one hand free *coff*

And with a proper Natural Keyboard, if I ever forget to put it in, does it say "Please put in your Natural Keyboard, then press F2" or stick with "Keyboard not present, press F2 to continue" O_o

Your touch typing skills will need to adapt. Personally, I kept slapping the gap in the middle when I was going for certain keys.
Gaming wise, not much of a difference really, but it is easier on your wrists, that's for sure.

It was worth the money in my eyes.

I found it easy to move to for touch-typing. If you move between PCs with normal keyboards and "natural" ones it can get annoying but if it's the only PC you use you should adapt in no time.

I actually found I was more comfortable using a normal keyboard and a wrist-rest than a natural one though so mine is gathering dust in favour of my proper old IBM clicky-beast.

Hardware-wise they are no different so no special messages.

I use a Logitech IR one on my games box. It's always nice to have less wires and more freedom.

heh, me got ms natural keyboard, oltho i find useing both equaly easy, i think tatural is alot better for typing (not so good for typinmg with one hand tho the other side of key board is kida far and bent alill other way lol). I'd say it takes some getting used to, but for mer i would never ever ever trade me natural keyborard for regular one, i find it easyer and faster to type, oh and playing nc on it is uber cuz u have two parts separated so one is for running other for shortcuts and sht :D

I got an ms natural IR keyboard, much prefer it now than a normal one. It takes gettin used to but i generally find it better than your average bog standard keyboard for both typing and games.

The batteries dont go to often on my keyboard, on the mouse its another story  plus its nice when u r feeling truely relaxed to sit right back with the keyboard on ya lap and still be able to type :)

I am poor typist, but I hate MS keboard, just coz F keys are regrouped and the insert-del-Pg keys are totally messed up.
Now I have '1996 Unikey, also split in half, but nothing more messed up so I barely noticed change. And that sweet 0ldsk00l clicky....

I love clicky keyboards. I hate the new non-clicky ones... hideous. :(

Only compared to other cheap ones.

Find an old IBM workstation keyboard with the independant switches and you'll know the difference and never want to go back.

That would be tempting if it were wireless.

how about this one?

I don't know how it would do for gaming but the thing is quite novel in it's implementation. Basically you hold down a function key and it mirrors the right side of the keyboard so that it really takes little training because your (if you can touch type) your hands already know where to find the keys on the opposite side.
