Meh. The OZ one was FANTASTIC. But they should keep it out of Pepper Park. DoY players + DoY Troops > Pro-City player. Seriously.
Keep pro-DoY and pro-City players away from each other.

Oooh... this event is getting close to costing me a million credits. Any event zones should be warzones to stop people stealing belts.
Didn't you attack people at a non-pvp event a while ago Mumbly? Or was that just your clan? Or am I going slightly crazy?
We are trying to keep the balance between each side with spawning additional guards. Faction PvP is official allowed for this event but griefing will be prosecuted as normal. Everyone should be aware that this is pure War. And we know about the problems with the Stormbots in OZ Station and trying to erase them as soon as they respawn.
Keep it fair and have your fun.

yea was a nice event but there should have been GMs, cus some fuck started PKing my our clan and from what i herd there wasent suposed to be PK...
I had a talk with some clan responsible about the random pk actions. They seem to be cooperative. If anyone is massively disturbing this event with senseless random pking we will prosecute this.

Although I, like Mumbly, was very angry that anti-city people had come to spoil the fun, I do understand that they are quite allowed to do that: they are helping DoY after all.
Anyway, it's just the lack of people on either side (particularly city side, who I assume got really annoyed after the first wave of ganking) that prevented the event from completing.
However, I do want to congratulate you all for what a top night I've had, especially at the OZ station!!
And SnowCrash - I'm glad you are aware of the STORM bot situation.. DoY bots were on top of the city gates yesterday, and there was squat anyone could do about it because of the STORMs.

Don't worry. Anti-city just ended up fighting each other in Pepper Park 2. :rolleyes: Nothing like a good old fashioned BD+CS vs TG+TS fight while our npcs are taking heat in PP1. :p

You ARE going slightly crazy. It was SXR who got attacked at an event (we then proceeded to wipe the floor with them, but that's their own fault).

I walk through pepper park 2 (my home as a black dragon) and see City admin and TG players attacking Black Dragon and DoY guards. Of course I attack! So what if there are npcs there for you to kill. I can pvp as I always do. Should I sit there and watch them kill every npc on my side? Hell no. That was a lot of fun.

I would also like to add I don't mind a few skirmishes against PC enemies, but there was some clans (I won't name names) on Pluto that just delibretly took like 5-6 members and went to PP to PK and ruin the event.
when the fight was in oz i pk'ed some CA.. Alone though, i died to some doy traitor and gr'ed out :P. who was the gm who was that CA guy?!?!

meh i went to nf like an hour ago.. and there are still doy soldiers on the ramps leading to NF in pp1 :p even upstairs are doy troopers still DOY > NC :D

As I was too tired after running all around the city, attempting to support the runners of Neocron with the defence as much as I could, to thank everyone...
I would now like to take the chance to thank everyone involved with the defence of Neocron, I would name you all personally, but that would just mean I'd offend people because I forget about them, so I won't.
Again, a big thanks to all those runners who were willing to defend the city!
I dunno, there was a CA Tank who pulled out a Laser Cannon and shot DoY outside PP in Plaza. o_OThat was most likely mr. Dabbs, as he is a high-placed figure in the city he has a special allowance when it comes to using weapons in the Plaza and Via Rosso sectors.
that looked like a hell of alot of fun, shame i missed it, tho i doubt my /38 melle tank would be much help lol...would be cool to run something similar on Sat or Uranus...tho on Sat the anti-Pk would have to be stepped up..
Just a quick comment on this event. It was definitely fun, but sometimes I feel like Im fighting a losing struggle with other people. I mean, the article itself says anti-city factions assisted the bots, and what happens when we do? We get bitched at on the forums and apparently some people got warned. Warned for what? Helping DoY like they are supposed to? Ffs I went to Outzone station and there were anticity factions helping defend the city!!!! I mean seriously, am I the only one with any concept of what roleplay is? Or does every one just want a happy little event where they can kill mobs and not worry about players?
Seriously, what do you people want out of this game? Would you honestly rather have had BD and TG help you defend the damn city?
