Ok a friend is having major problems trying to play neocron :mad:

ok he is able to pick a char but then gets the 'connection to world server failed' message.

any ideas or help please :angel:

Hey,

1) Try a file check just to make sure everything is intact.
2) Wait a day and see if its cause of a database fault.

ok hes done a file check and all is ok, its happened since the patch,

edit- no lexx he aint

no its not his firewall. he checked it all out.

Hey,, did you solve the problem ?

here is what i did..
open the neocron INI and put in the next line.
LOCALPORT = "00090"

it worked for me.

btw.. the 00090 can be any port you would like.
but dont take ports that are being used by other prog's

(fenix and cannings were melee pe's)
