Just before I go to bed, here is something I´ll dream about, that will never happen..


each server having it´s own worldmap, it´s own factions, and it´s own cities

then have the servers interconnected

add a launch pad somewhere in the desert.

throw a few million credits,

fly to one of the other planets..


well... I´m allowed to dream, aren´t I...

afraid it would require a serious database makeover..

serious map making and thinkering.

but wouldn´t it just be, THE THING ??

but wouldn´t it just be, THE THING ??That would be pretty cool. Only thing I could see happenning would be two people having the same name on different servers and one of them attempting to go to the server the other is on. That could have some rather nasty results, lol.

ahh, but, SWG will make it possible to fight and fly in space..

I would have it the old way.

simply point A to point B..

have it be like a genrep. just have the model of a spaceship, and with only destinations the other planets.




and the thing with the name could be easily solved, but it could never be 100 % satisfactory.


2 people having the same name, is not uncommon..

however since this is a game, and not reality, it gives certain.....problems..

but an easy fix, would be to have people listed by an ID number.. citizen ID perhaps..

and names would then only be for RP purposes..

however, this would require you to either use this... citizen id, when you contact... or have to look up citizen id in citycom to find this id...

and this would complicate certain things.. not to mention double identities, and the inability to tell the difference between the ones with the same name.

unless you know their IDs.

but as I said, it would never be 100 % satisfactory.

Ahh, judging from the title I thought this was about ppus being balanced.


Anyways Naimex I think you have a great idea. Yea I seriously doubt it will happen, :p, the thought of this huge "world" with a way to travel to other servers(which would be other parts of this world) makes me all hot and bothered.



But it's not gonna happen. :p Maybe in the 2nd expansion for neocron, sometime in the future.

I see no reason not to support the addition of this feature. I'd go to Saturn and grief pee kay.

Id like it. Going to other servers to pk would be great. I hear things are all freindly and peaceful on uranus. Id have to put a stop to that.
