I've heard of it on and off for awhile and whilst I am HELLA late, my interest sorta hangs on the answer to that question.

I made 750k selling computer junk as tech parts. I was roleplaying a Black Dragon criminal selling counterfeit tech parts.
We roleplay a little bit, but it's usually slightly trolly. Like, we'll ask a noob for 1k for "protection" and if he doesn't pay we'll pk him. If they pay we will actually defend them. Sometimes they end up laughing about it and joining clan, so not all bad.
Serious roleplay isn't really a thing.
Bad Dragon
Jack Drake
Run
My Ppu
Nipple Goblin
Not really any more. Just don't have the population to get real interesting stories developing.
He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool; avoid him.
He who knows not and knows that he knows not is a student; teach him.
He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep; wake him.
He who knows and knows that he knows is a wise man; follow him.
The setting of NC will immerse you in it more than any other MMO I've ever played.
And I've played WoW, Tera, Darkfall, Black Desert, Elder Scrolls Online, etc. Pretty much most (if not all) the major titles that had large sums of money pumped into it.
I've actually admitted to Jack that I've considered doing some RP stuff in the future. The lore, backdrop, just general mood of NC is great.
Factions keep it interesting. And the quests in the game are some of the best I've seen for most MMOs. Just my opinion though.
