Titan Migration to New Infrastructure

Hi Community,

As you're aware we are currently in the process of moving to new server infrastructure. We have experienced some issues in this process which has slowed down the migration activity. We are now prepared to move on the last part of the migration.

Titan will be moved to its new home within the new server infrastructure. As such the server will be offline for a period of time while this occurs. We will update you all once the server is back online, we will not give an ETA at this time due to the number of factors involved. We hope to be back Soon™.

The forum and IRC are now permanently in their new homes, a such you should not experience any further issues with these services.

Unfortunately as some you are aware an issue was found by Zoltan earlier today.

Titan will remain off-line until the issue is resolved. No ETA at this time.

Thank you for your patience during the migration and downtime. The earlier UDP issues have been resolved, however we have identified a new issue with the server which has been identified to a possible driver and/or OS issue.

The investigation is still continuing. However as you may have already read on Twitter, we would like to re-assure that all character data is ok. However there may be some issues with the world or apartment data. The worse case is we have to rollback to a backup of 20th June 2013.

At this time we are not able give any more updates until at least tomorrow lunchtime. Please keep checking the forums for further updates.

Once again, the Neocron Support Team would like to apologise for the downtime, however we are moving forward to bringing your Neocrack back as soon as possible.

[UPDATE] Titan is back online.

In the course of the day the problems of Titan could be located and are finally fixed.
A backup from 20th June 2013 was used (directly before the server move) and then the character datas used from yesterday (short before the server was down), so that there was no rollback and there should be no loss of progress of your characters.

The server is back again since the early evening and the performance is satisfying until now.
We will still watch Titan for the next hours and ask for you to report of every problem via either ingame ticket or the known email-adresses.
