Yeah, there have been a growing number of these kinds of instances of game related death in Korea. Pretty scary... people seem to get completely addicted to the games.

I just read that article, and also read it today from two other sources, and all
of them had different facts, the only thing all of them said was that he had a
session of 50 hours...

I know that you can die from exhaustion, but we're talking 10 days without sleep, thats quite worrying if someone can die after just 50 hours, thankfully I've never dared to spend more then 24 hours on the PC. (With breaks, of course)

havent done a gaming session that long, longest was about 36 hours with breaks.

heh - That happened to me today, The other half called me up to say that she was going home to recover (She's pretty ill) and I was just like;

except without the feck and the hangup - fell asleep at 4 after a SHITLOAD of work towards a new uni application for 2006 (woot - spermy's goin' back again yall! - mr edumacation ^_^) and only got 3 hours sleep....

90% of VENOM know each other irl... we regularly get into a zombun state while playing / smoking

though not as regularly as we used to when we all played nc1 in a net cafe together... gotta love security guards who grow it themselves and watch you smoke on the cameras

i spent £135 on DVDs on friday...

and £30 on DVDs on thursday...

but i'm hoping they offer the same next weekend... i may do longer hours. if i can sacrifice part of one weekend (maybe 5 hours a day) i'd get almost a weeks pay
