The Final Test

Ok, so according to this post the NC1 DB has been backed up.

The Servers (NC1 and Beta) are down.
The download is released.

Now all we have to do is wait and see if they get it out on time with no mess-ups.

My £5 says they will release NC2 tonight (New accounts) but upgrades and/or character transfers will not be available today.

As we have seen so far it has taken them 3 days after a DB backup to activate the character transfer.
So do us upgraders have to wait until Saturday to play?

An official announcement of when we can upgrade would be nice.

im guessing as soon as characters snapshots are finished copying (and hopefully tested) they will open it up for business

@Duff: Yeah, but what im wondering is if it takes 3days to do whatever it is they do between taking a snapshop and activating transfer.
It took 3 days with both beta transfers, thats why im curious.

As i said, An official announcement of when we can upgrade would be nice.
