    Default Contests: Forum Bling!

    As you know, we are upgrading the Official Neocron forums! (OMGYAY I know!) With this upgrade comes a need for some updated avatars and smilies. We are very aware we have some extremely talented individuals in the community, so we're bringing this challenge to you! There are two different contests under one heading.

    Contest 1. Design a set of NC Themed Avatars - They can be anywhere from 70x70 to 100x100

    Contest 2. Design a set of NC Themed Smilies - These can be any width but please do not exceed 20 pixels high.

    The rules are simple, you must make your submission obviously Neocron themed. You may NOT infringe on the copyrights of other individuals (IE steal artwork from other companies/games/movies/tv shows/artists other than yourself). You may try your hand at one or both contests.

    What will the winner(s) get? 1 WoC 3 PA PLUS the honour of having their NC Themed Smilies and/or NC Themed Avatars featured on the new and improved Neocron forums!

    Excited? You should be! We are...

    Please post your submissions in this thread; All submissions will become the property of Neocron and the Neocron IP holder and no monetary reward nor compensation will be given. We reserve the right to pick and chose what avatars and smilies we decide to use.

    Need some help and/or inspirational material as you get started? You can always download the Neocron Fansite Kit .

    The contest ends August 17th. Submissions must be received by midnight EDT (that gives you 6 extra hours if you're in Germany ). The thread will be closed at that point, and winners will be announced that following Sunday, August 19th.

    Hi

    here is my Submission for the Neocron Avatar Contest.
    I tried to make some Categories to fit all needs for Class and Faction Friends, the WOC1 and 3 Versions of the PAs are Missing because i can't wear them with the most of my Chars to make Screens in the correct size and angle. I'm sorry for that..
    Anyways I hope the whole Bundle follows the same Line of Design ^^

    Here is the Overview:



    (Yes - sorry - i know, the Admin Avatars aren't a Part of the Contest but they complete the whole Set =D)

    Even if you think Mr Corvin has the avatar contest sewn up, give it a go, you'll never know if you don't try - and remember this two contests in one thread; no one has submitted any smilies yet! Keep your submission coming, I know there are very creative buggers out there, have some confidence and enter the contest!

    Awesome work mr Corvin,I like the sets, some great ideas including the factions nice, may have to use biotech one as Logan has always been affiliated to them but no emporium? Go on ya know you want to �� I'm fed up of me avatar and due to the new forums may make a change myself!

    I might see what I can do about some smilies, though time is a bit tight and I'm not sure if the results will be up to snuff and I don't know how to make gifs.

    We've had some requests to lengthen the contest, and I am nothing if not completely flexible (yar...anyhoo :P) SO! Contest will continue until NEXT Friday, August 17th, and the winners will be announced August 19th.
