Is there a reason why we are not allowed to remake the reticule?

I'd love to use another reticule apart from this silly simple one.

I've noticed the reticule is included on the drone bmp's but unfortunately it isn't used...

There are a few reticules kicking about that are available for download, but I'm not sure it's allowed...

Maybe someone else can help you. If it is, I'll post links to the reticules. I used to use a custom one, but never bothered changing it since I re-installed!

Im actually interested on why custom reticles are not allowed...

Maybe you can alter them so they close faster than the official one ?

That wont be anything to do with the graphics and images that the HUD and reticule uses. I don't exactly know why we rnt aloud to use them but there is obviously a reason how they can affect the gameplay, I just don't know what yet :P

I'm pretty sure it was hoder that told me that when you use a custom reticle your style of aiming changes and it could give you an advantage or some bs

It's a line that has been drawn and repeatedly refreshed.

It's your choice to ignore the rules, may they look as weak as possible.
However keep in mind that by doing so you expose yourself defenseless, when other probably faked issues turn up on you.
