I wonder maybe if we take a closer look at the root causes of the symptom , (why do ppl resort to this) then perhaps there can be a better solution found.
So there can be other factors causing...
Heres idea that could make it easier to gather ppl for OP defenses (often the "ninja" accusations we see, are met with replies of "well gather some ppl and fight us") ...so I though of a way this...
I would still hope they will be fixed, the case for boosting them from TL 103 to TL 115 weaponry (to match the other classes) is very strong imo, so perhaps we may yet see APU WoC weaponry introduced...
The weapons were all balanced by TL/dmg/freq , so APU dmg/time is decent but limited to TL 103 (FA) and they only have slow freq weaponry, and also miss out on the WoC/TC dmg/aiming bonuses.

Same here, I think 2.2 is the most balanced version at end game and PvP.
Just would like to see APU/Hybrids/Melee improved a bit and also PvE made a bit easier/convenient for lvling runners.
Again , this is part of the problem, because even finding clans doesnt always help the noobs so much, because in general a "Vet" will only spend 3-7 days droning to woc after which they lom back to...
But where? Even if you somehow managed to find 9 5x runners to make such a team, they will still all die almost instantly vs rank 64 poison mobs or rank 66 firemobs.
So that leaves only regents...
See, I think your all overlooking the point , we have to nurture the non-capped runners , or else they wont stay and cap and join the PvP , and the pops will never get better because returning/new...
But they arent fine, even for Tank+PPU , it still means hiding constantly trying to aoe around a corner, while a single rank 64 creeper getting into a firing position will force a retreat while...
I have lommed my rifle spy to drones, and already capped in 1 day , and working on woc now, its rediculous just how easy it is for my droner spy now, compared to how incredibly hard and slow it was...
